Re: one click optimization will not complete

Thanks for the tip - I went thru the full bleepingcomputer.com, rkill, adware cleaner and malware.bytes process and was able to quarantinve sweetpacks.  That was good. However, Nortion utilities 16 is still freezing. Now:

One click optimization still stops at 20% completion but finds 59 issues befors stopping at

hkey_classes_root\clsid\{ff8f1d65-ad2b-47f1-9e71-66b7d35e3852}\inprocserver32

Registry clean stops at 70%, reporting 2 issues at add/remove programs, 2 file extension issues and 55 temporary files shortcut issues before it stops at the same address as above.

I would like to be able to use Norton Utilities but need help so it will cycle to 100%.

I do have Windows 7, use Internet Explorer 11, and Norton Internet Security.
