Hi Rajkumar,
Thank you for responding.
The Windows 8.1 Professional OS I am using is 64-bit. And in that article (via the link you provided) I know it says "All the major features of Norton Utilities 16 are available when you install it on a 64-bit version of Windows, except File Shredder."Yet in that same article it also goes on to say that "Norton Utilities 16 has a limited ability to accept files for shredding through drag and drop on 64-bit version of Windows." What is the limited ability on 64-bit Windows it speaks of?
Because we know that the available workaround of manually adding files and/or folders is not drag and drop; and although it is better than nothing, it is still much less than desirable. The ease of drag and drop is so much more direct and quicker to execute.
Maybe this drag and drop issue, although as you say "by design", will yet be corrected in an upcomning release of Norton Utilities. I hope.
Thanks again.
regards,
Laurence
