I just started using NHP yesterday and I must say, I really disappointed ... This product adversely impacts internet access performance. I have high-speed BB internet service and understand that this product may interfere with the ability of a mail client such as Microsoft Outlook to transact against a particular ISP's POP/SMTP servers, but I don't see why it would also inhibit normal webmail access to that same ISP's webmail services.
I also find the heavy impact to the overall BB performance totally unacceptable while this product is active - dropping a 125MBPS x 25MBPS (<5ms Ping time) speed test server's results down to a pitiful 9MBPS x 0.5MBPS (>500ms Ping time) functionality. I am familiar with other VPN solutions and they do not begin to impose such severe performance degradation.
Since I just obtained and began using this product yesterday (4/2/14) and foolishly opted for the $50 (U.S.) 1-year subscription, I feel that I have truly "been had" by Symantec...
Is there a way I can request a refund and cancelation for this useless product?
