Hai,
Some questions:
1)Did you configure any DNS Server IP to your network adapter?
2)Have you configured proxy server in windows?
3)Are you using Norton Connect safe DNS Servers?
4)Are you using any local dns servers or proxy servers to connect to the internet?
5)Is this problem common to all browsers?
6)Does your modem/router forward dns queries?
7)How do you connect to internet?
8)Are you behind any firewall?
Some suggestions:
1) Please go to network adapter settings ( via network and sharing center) of the network adapter which you use to connect to internet.
Check if any DNS server is configured under IPv4 properties. If it is not necessary, untick the option 'use this dns server(s)'
2) (for mozilla firefox its different) Go to internet explorer -> tools -> options -> connections -> LAN settings -> Check if proxy server address is configured or that option is ticked.
(You must also configure the port number, if you need to use proxy server)
untick it if not needed.
You may also try unticking all options execpt 'automatically detect ...' option(the first tick box, i suppose)
3) In your modem/router check if it has been configured with a valid DNS ip and your connectivity to the DNS server is up. (just do a ping to that address)
hope it helps to narrow the issue...
