I finally got it to work, I think. (If Norton changed anything that may have helped, Apple also updated their ios... so I don't know if it makes a difference but...)
This time when I logged in I checked the box that says "remember me on this computer". That seems to make it work. If I log in manually there are issues. Maybe that was the problem I was having?

I don't know if anyone else will reply to this that has more knowledge of it. But it looks to me from what I understand now after talking to tech support, that the program needs to allow the network to identify your credentials before it logs on to NHP and downloads a security certificate thingy.
After a disk crash, the computer was restored using Ghost from a year-old recovery point (C: OS) and other backup files and was fully operational. As final step, the D: (Recovery) partition (Dell Computer) was restored from year-old recovery point. Upon restart, the computer just loops through Dell Startup screen with Function switch options. Are there any thoughts on how the D: restoration could have caused this?
If the disk crashed, are you restoring your drives onto a new drive?
If you are doing the restore of your C drive, why would you need the D:recovery partition?
Maybe if you restore the C drive again over your current setup, it may restore the proper boot up.
I ran a scan using Norton Power Eraser and it found two infected files. It said that it would remove them after restarting my PC. I restarted it and afterwards, NPE said it failed to remove the infected files. What am I supposed to do?
And I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't exactly sure where to post it.

Why were you running NPE? Was the system behaving strangely?
What were the files that NPE was trying to remove?
As NPE is very powerful tool, you may be lucky it did not remove them, It sometimes identifies Windows system files as bad, leaving you with an unbootable system.
All of a sudden...virtually overnight...Norton ConnectSafe is filtering a number of sites that were previously safe, particularly links to ANY video from m.facebook.com, and espn.go.com for starters. Oh, the ironic part is that when the site is blocked and you click on "more info", the website is rated "OK".
Manually changing the DNS settings in my router to the updated servers appears to have resolved my issue.
I'm having the same issue using Facebook and other pages. Started happening yesterday for me. I do not want to relax the setrings since I have children.
I've posted something here in "Other Norton Products," where I usually do for GHOST issues. But, an Administrator has moved it -- "This post has been moved to "Norton Ghost" board for better exposure."
Cannot find that Norton GHOST Board. Am I being stupid -- again. Tks.

I should have added that my issues are with the iPad facebook mobile app, but I have Also noticed other pages with the issue.
