Holy cow thanks so much for such a quick response! Wasn't expecting one so fast, but am so grateful! I will definitely give that a shot.

An intrusion attempt by my own computer
This one is very strange to me.
An intrusion attempt EDDWARD-PC was blocked.
How do you explain this? This is my computer. Is my computer attacking itself? Please explain. I deleted my IP address from this message.

Re: New IPs Available for Norton ConnectSafe
There is also another problem with this new Norton DNS - Ping 199.85.126.10 / 199.85.127.10 = 50 - 85% loss!
Unfortunately, the old IPs 198.153.192.40 / 198.153.194.40 are beginning to get bad ping results = 25 - 50% loss!
This has been going on for weeks now - Is this something that is connected to the IP address move?
Re: An intrusion attempt by my own computer
It is not your computer attacking you, it is from your Internet Explorer on your computer. A site you visited had some malware on it that Norton has detected and dealt with.
Re: An intrusion attempt by my own computer
Thank you. After doing further research I came to the same conclusion. This was confirmed after running Norton Power Eraser, which turned up nothing, and running another scan program, again, turning up nothing. I trust Power Eraser goes deep enough to find anything. I will consider this event closed. Thanks, again.

Actually Power Eraser can go too deep sometimes, and could actually leave you with a computer that won't boot. We recommend only using NPE under supervision of someone who knows Windows systems and/or malware well enough to know if the files that NPE wants to remove are really a problem.
We will be here if you need us again.

From the looks of it there may be a problem. It also appears that the correct team is aware of it and working on it. About all we can do now is to wait for them to let us know that all is well again. til then
Stay well and surf safe

Re: How to stop nu16 from erasing restore points
What is a much better "PROGRAM"
Problems downloading Norton Anti Theft to my Apple i-pad
I've just purchased Norton 360 and Norton Anti Theft [both for 3 devices]. No problem with 360; I've successfully downloaded that to my Windows Desktop and Laptop PCs and have one licence remaining. I have managed to downloaded Anti Theft to my Laptop and Smart phone, but every time I try to download it to a third device [my Apple i-pad] by accessing the Norton Mobile Security App, I receive an error message "No License". I can't understand why this should happen, as I should be able to download it to three devices and I haven't put it on my Desktop PC, so there should be one remaining licence.
Please can someone help?
