Running NPE again and clicking Undo Previous Fixes. It reports No repair sessions found. This makes sense, as it did not find any problems when it ran.
The question is, what did it do to the boot system when it restarted the system?

Sorry I have no knowledge of what might have been changed by the restart of the system by NPE. I also have no knowledge of Linux systems, so hopefully someone with experience can see this thread and offer help.

Now that's new information.
So the old defrag problems are a thing of the past? The auto-optimization arranges data in a way other than consecutive blocks? Hmmm, something to look into. Thank you for the info. I'll do some research to find out more about what you have stated. Any suggested reading? Thanks again.

Yea - it's not compatable that's why I bought NU 16. So your suggestion is mute.
Size of window and fonts for NU 16
I have a question about size of windows and fonts used in the UI for NU 16 (and other Norton Products).
I'm asking because I have difficulty reading the small fonts. When I enlarge the fonts using windows dpi option, then some of the information will extend beyond the space allocated. And therefore I have to use the 100% size dpi or lose some of the information.
I have a large 32" HDMI monitor, but I have to move the NU 16 window to my 42" HDMI monitor to read easily.
Using the windows magnifier is a real pain, so please do not suggest that. I've already tried it.
So here are the questions:
Why is the window a fixed size?
Why are the fonts a fixed size? (Part of the answer is, of course, to fit inside the fixed window, bit otherwise, why the limitations?)
If users could change these sizes, then those of us with eyesight difficulties could easily solve our problems.

ConnectSafe DNS Policies are Censoring Internet
I originally wanted to use this Norton DNS Service for my home to block porn & maybe security risk sites, but turns out they block MUCH MORE than what they promise. As clearly stated here: https://dns.norton.com/dnsweb/faq.do none of the 3 policies say anything about blocking File Sharing or File Hosting sites, yet most of the sites are blocked saying: "This website is categorized as File Sharing and is blocked as part of this networks web content filtering policy." These are the DNS servers I used on the router: 199.85.126.30, 199.85.127.30, 199.85.126.20, 199.85.127.20, 199.85.126.10, 199.85.127.10. And yes I did reboot the router, cleared browser cache & ran ipconfig /flushdns. Norton please do not turn your DNS internet filtering into internet censoring. Thank you. I hope this gets resolved.

Cannot reinstall Ghost 10. Error msg says too many installations.
I need to recover data saved by Ghost ver 10. I tried to install Ghost 10.0 using original CD and Key. I get a msg saying it has been installed too many times. The OS is Windows XP SP 3.0.

By choosing a level of protection given by Connect Safe, you are choosing to accept someone's decisions on censorship. If you are not happy with the choices made, you are free to choose another product that suits your needs.
Which level of protection have you chosen? If you have any level that covers pornography, Torrent sites may be blocked as many and/or all of them offer adult content.
If you are looking for parental control, you could just use the basic level of protection and use a program such as the Norton Family features of the Norton products.

Contact them and see if they can reset your key so that it's operational again

Excellent questions and reasonable suggestions. I'm going to ask a moderator to move your message to the product suggestion forum. That's where the teams go for ideas.
One question, if they were to develop a version that was more flexible for those with vision limitations could you pay a surcharge for it? I'm just thinking that it will take programming time which is $$ to develop the product and it might move it higher on the priority list if it was seen as a plus for the bottom line. No requirement or an answeer nor would I hold you to a positive response.

Not sure why design decisions are made, but I can see where you would benefit from a change to these decisions.

The support people stated that they no longer offer support for Norton Ghost. They suggested I use this forumn for help.
How does Norton Utilities 16 work?
I've been using Norton Utilities since I think the first versions so many years ago. I'm curious as to how NU 16 works on my Windows 8.1 Dell system? How do I know that it's not causing problems? I'm just curious as to how it knows about all of the software we have installed in each computer & how it knows what's good, what might not be bad & what is totally bad? Sorry, but I just need to know that I'm not causing issues rather than fixing them?
